Meet the Mountainscape Weddings Team
Lead Wedding Producer
For years, our fantastic lead wedding producer, Katie, has impressed couples with her talents in planning, unflappable demeanor, and unparalleled work ethic. She is described by peers as incredibly detail orientated and dedicated while also being a comforting and calm person to help guide you through the wedding planning process. We couldn’t be happier to have her on board.
For the last 6 years, Lara has been planning corporate events in and around the Bow Valley for groups up to 500 in size. She recently made the change to weddings because she LOVES love, and wants to make her couples’ mountain marriage dreams come true. Lara prides herself on her creativity, group management and resourcefulness. She is so excited to work with you and make your vision a reality.
Naomi has lived in the Banff area for almost 30 years. She has been part of the hospitality and events industry throughout this time. As Creative Director of both Mountainscape Weddings and Mountainscape Productions & Events, she transforms any room into a magical ceremony or reception space. Her designs are well known, seen in the Calgary Bridal Guide, and more recently in the bridal magazine “Luxe.” Lavish, unique, dramatic, and stunning, her creative work speaks for itself. As a local business owner, she has made strong relationships with local vendors and venues. Naomi has the right connections for anything you could dream of.
Senior Decor Manager
Wendy brings a wealth of experience and a huge dose of warmth and good humour to every Mountainscape Weddings project. Wendy has used her creative eye and impressive organizational skills for over 600 events as an event designer, program, and designer manager. From page to stage, Wendy gets it done. We believe her unmatched ability to multitask stems from keeping up with her busy and equally creative young daughter.
Wedding Design Coordinator
Lou is our Event Design Coordinator who supports our entire weddings team! From working with our Creative Director Naomi on new event design proposals to researching and sourcing vendors for clients, Lou basically knows everything there is to know about every venue and vendor in the area. She is integral in creating packages for our couples and making everything run smoothly.
Iris believes that no flower is the same, and she revels in the uniqueness that every shape and shade can bring. Growing up in Guadalajara, her love of flowers bloomed in her hometown, where Dahlia’s, the state flower, grew. Iris has loved flowers since she was a child, and even started her entrepreneurial journey in high school, selling roses at the local market on Mother’s Day. Iris came to Canada for love, after reconnecting with her junior high school sweetheart through Facebook! Even 20 years of distance couldn’t keep them apart. Iris and her husband previously lived in Whistler, and have called Banff home since 2019.
Jeff is in charge of keeping things awesome – logistics, creative solutions, and fun.
