Do you offer Day of Coordination packages?2019-12-13T15:44:56-07:00

We offer Month of Coordination packages, which consists of 50 hours of planning. This is our “Day of “ service! This package includes pre-planning tools designed by our team to help keep you on track, our preferred vendor list, our team communicating with and organizing your vendors, creating a master contact list and detailed timeline of your wedding day, running your rehearsal (if you wish) and on-site coordination of your day from start to finish. So while we are there on the day as well, our Month of Coordination package offers you so much more!

What is a typical budget for a wedding in the Rocky Mountains?2019-12-13T15:45:24-07:00

We work with our couples to design a budget that reflects their priorities. The question really depends on a number of factors such as guest count, venue, food and beverage, decor, florals and so much more. The sky really is the limit. When designing your wedding investment, we think about what is most important to you. We help guide you through this process, and our tools will help you stay on track.

If you already have your wedding investment determined before you book with us, we review it with you to ensure it is achievable and help turn your vision into reality.

How long have you been planning weddings in the Rockies?2019-12-13T15:50:28-07:00

The Mountainscape team has been planning events in the Bow Valley since 2004 and specifically weddings since 2009, offering custom planning and decor design services to both Canadian and international couples.

Our Lead Wedding Planner, Katie Craig has been planning and coordinating weddings in Banff and surrounding areas since 2013. She took over the lead position for Mountainscape Weddings in 2018 and is loving the new challenges and adventures the position brings!

We take care of the myriad of details, so you can focus on your friends and family, on the biggest day of your life! Hiring a wedding planner means you and your guests can relax, immerse yourself and truly enjoy the wedding experience. Our team of local mountain wedding experts will guide you through the pre-planning process, (either locally or from afar) and will be onsite with you from sunrise to sunset on the big day, advocating your intentions and ensuring your day runs just as smoothly as you planned it. Should any issues arise, they will be solved seamlessly. Having a planner means experiencing your wedding day to the fullest!

The answer to this question is as individual as each couple we work with. We assist by providing budget examples, and real wedding pictures to determine your general investment level.We then work with you to discover your top priorities and style.

We want to help our couples with their decor aspirations and be realistic with their budget. When you see a stunning photo on Instagram/Pinterest, what you are not seeing is the decor consults, multiple proposals, labor costs, delivery charges, and all other time and work that goes into that single shot. We work with our couples to take their design visions and make something beautiful that stays within their desired investment level.

We have a list of preferred, expert local vendors ( from photographers to salon services to entertainment and everything in between) that we are more than happy to share with our clients. However, we do not limit our couples on who they work with. We will assist you in finding the perfect vendor for you, even if that means we haven’t worked with them previously and guide you through the booking process.

Do you offer set up and tear down services of DIY decor?2019-12-13T15:54:26-07:00

Yes, from time to time, we offer set up and tear down of personal decor for clients who have contracted us for wedding planning services. We do not offer set up and tear down outside of this. Cost for this service on an hourly basis, and quoted once item list is provided. Please contact us for more information.
