Married...at last! Beautiful Banff wedding after three years of planning!

Nicole & Chris FINALLY got married in a beautiful Banff ceremony on Friday October 8, 2021…three years after they started their wedding planning journey with us at Mountainscape Weddings back in 2019!

We don’t often have clients on our books as long as this lovely couple, but with (you know what) causing delays and postponements, we worked with this extremely patient couple through guest list downsizing and venue changes but they rolled with the punches and came out on top with a fantastic wedding day in Banff, Alberta.

Our lovely bride started the day getting ready with custom robes as gifts for her bridesmaids before the first look at Lake Minnewanka. This was a change of plans from their original location due to unpredicted circumstances, but this spectacular location made this wedding day go even better than planned. The ceremony at Tunnel Mountain then went perfectly on a truly beautiful day and there could not be a more deserving couple who waited so long.

We are thrilled to have photos of the day by the ever-amazing Orange Girl who was so flexible and talented, getting these beautiful shots even in the overhead sun.

The group partied the evening away at The Bison in Banff with incredible food and Pez Productions as their fantastic DJ, with the Mother of the Groom showing off some phenomenal dance moves in the Mother & Groom dance (The Beatles).

They chose clean and classic decor which suited the beautiful couple and the venue perfectly with an amazing cake from Kake by Darci. Our decor team excelled themselves with two groups working on multiple location set-ups on the day to bring everything together, it’s always a great day on wedding day in the mountains!

We are so so happy to have been able to help Nicole & Chris tie the knot at last and with so much joy!
